Some pregnancies can end in unexpected ways, or have the perfect ending but an unexpected journey.

At Westminster Women’s Clinic, we understand this and have introduced the Birth Reflection appointment. This is designed for women who have delivered their baby elsewhere, but would like an appointment to discuss their pregnancy or birth.

This is an appointment will not involve medicolegal advice or is designed to criticise the care provided. Instead, it allows you to reflect on your journey, discuss openly in a safe environment how you felt, offer you an understanding of any decisions that may have been made along the way from an outsider perspective, and support you in this reflection.

Women are welcome and encouraged to bring their antenatal and birth notes along to this appointment.
